Patti Smith: Horses

They say it’s dangerous to meet your heroes, but in the case of Patti Smith, don’t sweat it. She is an intensely smart, gracious, generous and curious person. After she approved of what I had made here on the Horses album, Patti agreed to be the host for a 4-hour Bob Dylan radio documentary series a year later. Her hand written edits of my script are up on the wall.
